The Peaks Hotel & Suites has 71 modern design rooms, conveniently located in the Town of Banff - opening early February 2021. The Peaks Hotel & Suites is the sister property to the Bow View Lodge and the iconic Banff Park Lodge, a fully serviced Resort Hotel and Conference Centre.

We are currently seeking one full-time, permanent Housekeeping Supervisor, required to work day shifts, weekends and holidays with opportunities for overtime. The wage will be based on experience, for 30-40 hours per week. The anticipated start date is mid-January 2021.

Duties Include (but are not limited to):

Inspect guest room and public areas to ensure cleanliness is up to standard
Sweep, mop and wash floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
Make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
Handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other items
Work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, attention to detail, bending, crouching and kneeling
Training of new staff and ongoing training of existing staff
Supporting other staff by taking a hands-on approach to ensure great customer service
Additional duties as assigned
Ideal Candidate

Has a minimum of one-year Housekeeping Supervisor experience
Has a dynamic personality and excellent customer service skills
Shows strong leadership and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for training
Brings a positive attitude and strong teamwork abilities
