Job Summary:

Oskar Construction Ltd. is seeking a dependable Carpenter to join our crew. This role involves building, repairing, and installing wood and other materials on-site. You’ll work with hand tools, power tools, and follow plans to get the job done safely and efficiently. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, working outdoors, and being part of a skilled construction crew in the Bow Valley.

Key Responsibilities:

Measure, cut, and assemble materials for framing, finishing, and general construction.
Read and follow drawings or instructions from supervisors.
Install doors, windows, cabinets, trim, and other woodwork.
Operate and maintain hand tools and power tools.
Work with other crew members to complete tasks on schedule.
Keep the worksite clean, safe, and organized.
Follow all safety rules and wear proper protective gear.
Qualifications:

Previous carpentry experience is an asset (but willing to train the right person).
Ability to work with hand tools and power tools.
Comfortable reading basic drawings and measurements.
Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Reliable, hardworking, and able to follow direction.
Valid driver’s license and transportation to job sites (preferred).
Compensation:

Competitive hourly wage based on experience.
Holiday and vacation pay
