Banff Sunshine’s Ski Patrol Department is planning their spring hiring clinics for next Winter 2024-2025.
We are looking for Ski Patrollers with expert skiing ability, ability to work well in a team, superior customer service skills and a passion for working outdoors in the beautiful Canadian Rockies. This year’s clinics will be hosted on Saturday, April 13th and Sunday, April 21st. This half-day session will include assessments of skiing ability, first aid knowledge and other patrol duties.

Requirements for the position include:
Physically fit
Expert skiing ability
Valid First Aid certificate, minimum 80 hours, (EMR preferred) with Basic Life Support’ certification or equivalent training
Availability from late October through end of May
Preference will be given to those with:
Previous ski patrol experience
Previous ski resort experience
Previous outdoor work experience in a team environment
Avalanche Skills Training certificate and/or Canadian Avalanche Association Certifications
Mountaineering / Backcountry travel experience
Rope management experience
Knowledge of Banff Sunshine Village Ski and Snowboard Resort
