This position is based in Buffalo Mountain Lodge, Banff, AB.

Primary Function: The HR & Payroll Administrator provides administrative support to the HR and Payroll functions of CRMR. This role assists with daily tasks related to recruitment, HR administration, payroll processing, compliance, safety initiatives, and event coordination.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Recruitment & HR Administration

Assist in the recruitment process including resume screening, initial interviews, reference & background checks, and new hire calendar coordination.
Maintain applicant tracking spreadsheets and communicate status.
Ensure positive application experience through timely correspondence.
Support execution of HR projects and daily requests
Administer criminal record checks for all housing applications.
Maintain employee records confidentially including personnel files.
Payroll Administration

Support payroll manager with timecard audits, leave accrual tracking, reconciling discrepancies.
Process and submit vacation requests, lieu time, overtime banks, and sick leave.
Onboard new hires into payroll system including banking, deductions, garnishments.
Health & Safety

Track health and safety training completion and identify expiration dates.
Schedule and coordinate monthly health and safety meetings.
Partner with Health & Safety Manager on incident investigation
Company Culture & Events

Organize and support execution of staff appreciation events, holiday parties, award ceremonies.
Maintain responsibility calendar of special events and culture-building initiatives.
Requirements/Experience:

Administrative experience in human resources, payroll or related field preferred
Strong verbal and written communication abilities
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Experience maintaining sensitive employee information confidentially.
Collaborative team player who takes initiative on projects
Familiarity with Canadian payroll compliance
Available to work weekends and public holidays.
