Full job description
PRIMARY FUNCTION

To oversee all food and beverage operations and staff. To ensure excellent guest experiences across outlets. To lead the supervisory team to drive sales and service. To maintain budget, inventory, quality, and safety controls.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage daily activities for restaurants, lounge, banquets.
Assist in menu planning if necessary, consulting with the Chef on daily specials.
Schedule staff and support during shifts as needed.
Enforce standard operating procedures.
Resolve any guest issues quickly and effectively.
Track sales data and provide reporting.
Monitor budgets, inventory, costs, and pricing
Authorize purchases based on revenue allocation.
Recruit, onboard and develop talented staff.
Conduct training programs to uphold service culture.
Motivate and mentor supervisory team members.
Handle performance issues and HR processes
Maintain organized records and documentation.
Ensure compliance with health and safety.
Perform payroll, gratuity distribution.
Lead weekly team meetings and communication.
Work sections, serve banquets, and work breakfast when required.
Assist other departments as needed.
Perform other duties as required.
EXPERIENCE

Restaurant/hotel management experience
Excellent leadership, customer service and communication skills
Knowledge of industry systems and financials
Organized multi-tasker and creative problem solver.
Degree in Hospitality or Hotel Management (asset)
Sommelier certification is an asset.
Able to cope in high-pressure situations.
Willingness to work all shifts (AM, PM, and mid-shifts) and provide support during daily service when required.
Endurance for long periods of standing, sitting, bending, and lifting (up to 45 pounds) may be required.
