PRIMARY FUNCTION

The Assistant Front Office Manager is a dynamic leader responsible for supporting the Front Desk team’s daily operations. This role involves offering training, guidance, and hands-on supervision to ensure service excellence. The Assistant Front Office Manager aids the Front Office Manager in managing guest concerns, administrative tasks, and overall Front Desk operations.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervise and support front desk agents on shifts.
Resolve guest requests, issues and complaints.
Ensure adherence to SOPs related to reservations, payments, etc.
Assist with hiring decisions, onboarding, and training.
Identify ongoing development needs through observations and feedback.
Schedule staffing to meet service level targets.
Maintain room inventory, rates, and revenue reports.
Act on behalf of Front Office Manager during absences
Champion company culture initiatives and guest service standards
Embrace innovation opportunities to elevate department.
Other tasks as assigned to exceed guest expectations.
EXPERIENCE

2+ years front desk supervision experience required.
Sharp interpersonal, coaching, and problem-solving abilities
Guest-centric focus with acute attention to detail
Extensive knowledge of Opera PMS and MPI payment terminals
Savvy with MS Office, spreadsheets, reporting and analytics
Exceptional communication and emotional intelligence
Comfortable handling difficult situations
Responsible self-starter and dynamic team leader
Flexibility in working hours to align with the varying demands of the business.
