We’re seeking a full-time, salaried Assistant Housing Manager to join us at Banff Hospitality Collective! Assistant Housing Manager

Reporting to the Housing Manager and working closely with the entire People Operations Team (HR, Payroll, Benefits, OHS) the Assistant Housing Manager plays an important role in creating a positive and memorable experience for over 150 employees living in BHC Housing. The successful candidate is a friendly, enthusiastic and organized individual who genuinely enjoys engaging with people and advocating our company culture and housing standards. This position works Sunday to Thursday and is based out of all of our housing properties and at our head office located in Banff's industrial area.

What You’ll Do:

You will work closely with the Housing Manager to oversee and manage BHCs Housing program
Deliver all Housing programing with excellence, ensuring it aligns with BHCs human resource strategy, policy and practices
Ongoing evaluation of the Housing program, by tracking, reporting, and assessing relevant statistics, including the organization wide Housing measurable outcomes
Ensure the appropriate administration of all aspects of program development and delivery
Welcome new staff to housing, explaining living environment and expectations during check-ins
Support the resolution of challenging situations between tenants
Manage maintenance requests and inventories
Support the enforcement of house rules, complete weekly inspections of all properties, common spaces and tenant units
Distribute cleaning supplies and household items as necessary
Support the setup of new properties, including lifting and moving furniture

What You Have:

You consider yourself an energetic and outgoing individual who enjoys collaborating with a diverse group of people to build and maintain strong working relationships
Prior experience in a similar role with an emphasis on employee experience and engagement is preferred
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and natural ability to build genuine, trusting relationships
You thrive in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to prioritize and multitask
Proactive, independent, and solutions-oriented
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion and professionalism with sensitive information
Ability to deliver information in a clear and concise manner
Strong computer skills
Flexible schedule required - ability to work on weekends and holidays
Class 5 drivers licence and own transportation is required
Must be able to lift 40 lbs
