We are looking for positive and enthusiastic line cooks to join our team. The ability to work in a fast paced team oriented environment . Please be flexible with the ability to work morning and evenings.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Multi-task the Grill/ other lines of Kitchen areas .
Stock replenishing, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Fast and efficient customer service and maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction at all times.
Preparing food in accordance with set menu standards along with the basic food handling and hygiene practices.
Checking use-by dates and ensure that food is used by the specified date.
Developing and maintaining an excellent working relationship with management, supervisors and other staff members.
Ensuring all goods / products are stored in a logical orderly fashion, are labeled and organized in such a way that goods / products are easy to locate.
Ensuring all food and non-foods are stored, labeled and rotated appropriately and to ensure fresh goods are used up in specials to minimize waste.
Undertaking label and checking of goods / products up on food delivery when instructed by management.
Working within the company’s health & safety policies and practices and report any hazards or incidences immediately.
Ensuring that the work area is clean, tidy and free from hazards.
Actively promote a healthy, clean, safe, secure and productive working environment whilst working in the restaurant
Reports to the Head chef.
REQUIREMENTS/ QUALIFICATIONS

Presentable, neat appearance and Safety shoes.
Good personal hygiene.
Flexible working hours, days, evenings, weekends, statutory holidays.
Good to have prior charcoal grill experience
Food handling certification (asset, not mandatory).
Minimum 1 year Experience as a line cook is required.
Good Communication skills & team working skills.
Ability to work under pressure & unsupervised.
Need to possess a Positive attitude.
Part-time hours: 35-45 per week
