We are currently seeking a full-time permanent talented Catering Supervisor.

Banff Park Lodge Collection of Hotels are a vibrant and innovating locally owned group of hotels on the edge of downtown Banff. Our two sister properties, Bow View Lodge and Peaks Hotel & Suites, complete the team. We also operate 3 dining outlets with over 19,000sq ft of meeting space that requires catering concepts for a variety of groups and special events.

The position is required to work day shifts, evening shifts, weekends and holidays with opportunities for overtime hours. The wage for this position is based on experience, for 30-40 hours per week.

Duties Include (but are not limited to):

Supervise, and co-ordinate the activities of servers, bartenders, and catering staff
Build and maintain a liaison with function organizers before, during and after all services to ensure all needs are met and exceeded
Check room set-ups for correctness against BEO
Plan and co-ordinate event details with kitchen, stewarding and catering
Implement sequence of service, conducts pre-shift briefings, and relates all pertinent information with staff
Communicate with catering and all other departments as needed on the outcome, challenges, and successes of all functions
May assist our Crave Mountain Grill or La Terrazza restaurants as required
Ideal Candidate:

Has a minimum of 1 year of food and beverage/catering supervisor experience
Alberta Pro Serve certificate is required
Flexible schedule required
Must be physically cable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
Has a dynamic personality and excellent customer service skills
Shows strong leadership, interpersonal skills and brings in a positive attitude
