Conveniently located in the Town of Banff, just steps away from the glacier-fed Bow River, Banff Park Lodge is a full-service Resort Hotel and Conference Centre. Here visitors can experience the best of both worlds: the peace and solitude of a quiet location, yet quick access to a livelier scene in downtown Banff. The Banff Park Lodge has two sister properties; the Bow View Lodge and the Peaks Hotel & Suites.

We are currently seeking a full-time Laundry Attendant, required to work AM and PM shifts, weekends and holidays. The wage will be negotiated based on experience. The shifts are usually from 7:30AM to 4:00PM or from 3:30PM to 12:00AM depending on occupancy.

Duties Include (but are not limited to):

Operate in house washer and dryers, wash, dry and fold towels, linen and uniforms
Count, sort and record clean linen and tablecloths as noted on the distribution form
Assist with the pickup and return delivery of laundry to and from other properties
Check laundered articles to ensure that established standards are met
Demonstrate a working knowledge of hotel safety and security procedures as required in order to maintain a secure and safe environment for guests and hotels
Essential Function:

Prolonged periods of standing and walking
Must be able to work independently without immediate supervision
Ability to visually check work, work area and hotel spaces
Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50lbs
Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling
Class 5 Driver’s Licence and clean abstract
Previous experience is an asset
Other Requirements:

- Knowledge of English language enough to engage guests in conversations

- Ability to deal with the public in a professional courteous manner

- Ability to communicate with all managers, supervisors and fellow associates

- Be well groomed and conform to hotel dress code
