What can you expect?
The Parts Purchaser & Administrator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our maintenance departments. This position involves procuring essential supplies, managing documentation, and providing administrative support to uphold our standards of safety, efficiency, and productivity. Reporting to the Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor, the incumbent will collaborate closely with various departments, vendors, contractors, and manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities:
Timely completion of various documentation including daily logs, maintenance records, and purchase orders.
Efficiently manage inventory, including estimating price and delivery, ordering, shipping, and receiving.
Assist in health and safety initiatives, such as managing modified duties and incident tracking.
Communicate effectively regarding supply issues, delays, and other pertinent information.
Adhere to company policies, legislation, and manufacturer requirements.
Provide timely and accurate reporting of incidents and deficiencies.
Support department functions to ensure timely completion of tasks.
This role operates machinery, including snowmobiles, off road/highway vehicles.
Requirements:
Valid Alberta vehicle operator’s license.
Positive, mature, and friendly attitude with strong punctuality and dependability.
Calm under pressure and patient.
Ability to perform various duties and tasks within the department.
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, nights, and extended hours.
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Professional conduct both on and off duty, and online.
Capacity to provide training, support, and assistance to colleagues.
Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite.
Ability to maintain sound judgment and fitness for duty at all times.
Physical requirements include standing/sitting for long periods, lifting, pushing/pulling, and climbing stairs.
Candidates may be required to provide their own transportation.
