What can you expect?
Sunshine’s Room Attendants provide an outstanding guest experience by ensuring hotel rooms and common spaces are clean, in accordance with high quality standards. They assist guests by answering questions and following through on requests to meet guest needs and expectations. Room Attendants work alongside Room Checkers, Housepersons, and under the supervision of the Executive Housekeeping Supervisor and Hotel Manager.

This job might be right for you if you think you would really enjoy:
Consistent cleaning and monitoring, including:
Guest Rooms - Dusting, making beds, removing soiled linens/garbage, replenishing towels and amenities, vacuuming, spraying, and wiping floors, cleaning bathrooms, replacing used glassware.
Public Spaces, Common Areas, Bathrooms – cleaning and maintaining, dusting, removing garbage and other items, vacuuming, spraying, wiping areas.
Engaging with and assessing guest needs and expectations, aiding in a courteous manner, answering inquiries about the Resort, hotel services and facilities.
Performing work to a high-quality standard, always aligned with health and safety regulations.
Timely and accurately completing administrative tasks, incident and deficiencies reporting to supervisory personnel.
Other duties may be requested and assigned from time to time.
And you have:
Previous housekeeping, cleaning, or relevant experience is preferred, but is not required for the role.
Current first aid and CPR/AED training is preferred.
Excellent time management and organization skills. Time is of the essence in this role – candidates must be able to clean all assigned rooms per shift, and be accountable for remaining both productive and efficient, while ensuring the highest levels of guest satisfaction.
Being a team player, encouraging positive working relationships and strong interpersonal skills.
Communicate effectively in English, both written and verbally, comfortably to groups, and on a VHF radio.
Prepared to work flexible schedules (weekends, holidays), and in all weather conditions.
Maintain professional conduct when in uniform, on or off-duty (and online).
Effectively provide training, support, and assistance to coworkers.
Attend and actively participate in meetings and training.
Must be neat, punctual, and dependable.
