THE ROLE:

To lead, teach, coach and inspire a dynamic team in the Evergreen Restaurant & Lounge and Banquet functions to provide our guests with phenomenal dining experiences.

ACTIVITIES:

The duties and responsibilities of the Food & Beverage Supervisor include, but are not limited to the following:
 To ensure the level of service is harmonized by our menu, which displays the highest level of culinary skills, evident in all areas of presentation and preparation.
 Exceptional interpersonal skills to enhance both the presentation and service standards throughout the operation.
 Provision of exceptional guest service, going above and beyond to ensure total guest satisfaction. Lead by example.

 Supervise and co-ordinate activities of food and beverage servers and other serving staff.
 Actively participate in new-employee training in accordance with the Food & Beverage Employee Orientation program.
 Conducting continuous wine and cocktail knowledge and service training.
 Participate in Month End Liquor Inventory counts ensuring accurate reporting.
 Organization and maintenance of liquor storage area.
 Ensure that all banquet requirements are organized and well executed ensuring group satisfaction.
 Maintain daily liquor room inventory controls.
 Liaise with the Conference Services and Catering Team to assist Group Convenors to enhance their experience.
 Participate in weekly food and beverage meetings to ensure that all details of up-coming events are understood.
 Ensure proper beverage service in accordance with Alberta Liquor Laws.

COMPETENCIES WE ARE SEEKING:

Minimum 3 years experience supervising and in fine dinning services.
Experience in Food & Beverage Service, with a strong knowledge of the Food & Beverage service process.
Exceptional interpersonal skills to enhance both the presentation and service standards throughout the operation.
Excellent communication, guest service and up-selling skills.
Team player and a self-starter, yet able to work independently.
Mixology or the ability to make traditional cocktails and create new ones.
Familiarity with local liquor laws and the ability to enforce them.
Physical Requirements:

Position involves standing & walking for extended amounts of time.
Must be able to lift and carry 20lbs.
