Radventures are seeking an exceptional self-starter for a newly created full time role with unlimited growth opportunities to hit the ground running and help take our company to the next level.

At Radventures we don't operate the same old monotonous big bus sightseeing tours, we provide immersive, exciting & active experiences on snow, water, trails & the road to a great demographic of guests from all over the world looking for adventure in the Rockies, as well as offering a fast growing fleet of campervan rentals for guests who'd like to explore the Rockies at their own pace.

Given that we specialize in boutique, adventurous & "once in a lifetime" small group, private and self guided half day, full day & multi day experiences for guests who are looking to escape the ordinary in Canada, our enthusiastic & knowledgeable team are the backbone of our company ethos, so only the most dedicated of people need apply.

We are a fast growing company with big plans to expand into other markets in Canada & around the world, so a desire to grow with us and be open to creating new opportunities with us in the future is also essential.

The successful applicant will need to have solid experience in inbound tourism and be a proven manager of people.

Working closely together with the company directors, the successful applicant will be more than capable of overseeing and improving the day to day running of the company.

Their primary responsibility will be handling & improving our existing operations & guides procedures, as they incorporate their strengths in tourism business management & development to create new frameworks to scale & fast track the growth of the company.

They will bring a broad range of knowledge & experience covering all of our key operational duties and a passion for our business.

In this ever evolving position, the successful applicant will show the desire to grow with the company and be willing and able to step into all roles & responsibilities to drive the success of Radventures, relishing the challenge of achieving the goals and targets that we set together and sharing in our success whilst bringing ideas to the table that they will implement and execute.

The successful applicant will report to the General Manager, however as their position establishes itself, they will be given more authority to make decisions across all facets of the business and will eventually manage the day to day operations of the business and other team members entirely.

This role requires leadership by example and will involve being able to fulfill many different roles. You will be required to slide down the fire pole and get your hands dirty in an active outdoor environment.

POSITION SUMMARY & BREAKDOWN:

70% | Operations & Staff supervisor:

The primary responsibility of this position is to handle & improve the day to day running of the company operations and staff, including but not limited to:

Schedule and oversee staff's day to day duties
Assign and manage daily logistics, assets and resources
Handle last minute changes to guest & partner reservations and notify guiding team of changes
Maintaining Radventures product & service knowledge and familiarization
Prepare daily tour manifests & run sheets
Prepare invoices & quotes for guests and partners
Management of company inventory & vehicle maintenance, licenses etc.
Promote and Lead a positive company culture
Maintain our highest Customer Service standards and Quality assurance
Assist company directors with recruitment
Training of new team members
30% | Administrative & Site Duties:

A secondary responsibility of this position is to provide administrative & onsite support to the General Manager whilst overseeing:

Document & resource creation and updates
Employee on boarding & off boarding
Site cleanliness and organization
Maintenance of equipment and vehicles
Assisting with guide duties
Assisting with Staff accommodation oversight
Other duties as required
Given the evolving nature of the role, this position involves being highly organized & reliable at all times and stepping in wherever is needed to maximize your positive impact on the company.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Legal right to live & work in Canada
Currently living in the Bow Valley
Previous experience in overseeing a team
Drivers license & own reliable vehicle
Experience in tourism
Fluency in written & spoken English
Proficiency in information technology
Exceptional attention to detail
Confidence to advise based on sound knowledge
Willingness to learn, adapt, show initiative and be a positive team player and leader
Positive and happy attitude
Highest standard of ethics, confidentiality and professionalism
Exceptional time management skills
Class IV Alberta
First Aid
Physically fit and able to lift 20kg
DESIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

Class IV Alberta drivers license
Formal education in tourism and/or business management
Experience in res tech & booking software
Experience in sales, digital marketing, accounting/bookkeeping, reservations or business development
REMUNERATION:

Being a new role within the company, Radventures is open to negotiating the best win-win agreement for the right applicant with regards to remuneration, hours of work, bonuses & commissions based on experience and performance.

This position is for 40 hours a week, but the split between office based work and work from home as well as the hours of work and days of work in a week is open to negotiation.
