We are seeking experienced Housekeepers - Room Attendants and House Persons for this exciting opportunity to be part of the opening of The Otter Hotel.
This position entails maintaining cleanliness from the end of construction until the arrival of hotel guests. Post-construction cleaning involves deep cleaning of all guest rooms, hallways, and the building, necessitating ongoing cleaning of rooms and open areas to prepare for guest arrivals. The role demands attention to detail, the ability to work independently with minimal guidance, and a willingness to perform repetitive tasks.
Being part of the opening team offers the opportunity to potentially move into a supervisory role once the hotel opens to guests.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform post-construction deep cleaning of all rooms and common areas.
Prepare the hotel to welcome guests.
Vacuum all surface areas and deep clean all bathrooms.
Set up rooms with furniture in preparation for guests.
Safely remove any leftover construction materials from the building.
Assist other hotel housekeeping teams as requested.
Work safely, obeying all health and safety policies and procedures, and report injuries and hazards immediately.
Additional duties may be assigned to help meet guest needs.
Skills and Experience:
Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Comfortable with repetitive cleaning and attention to detail.
Positive team player attitude with the ability to work independently and a strong willingness to learn.
Able to lift, push, and pull at least 35 pounds.
Ability to understand both oral and written instructions in English.
Prepared to commit to the team and stay for 1 year or more is preferable.
