If you answered YES to the above questions, the position of Lodge Host was created just for you! The Lodge Host will be responsible for enhancing the experience by utilizing the art of conversation to pleasantly engage with guests and offer local knowledge to enhance their visit.

You will create "I-can't-believe-they-did-that" moments by performing all duties in an engaging, friendly, and professional manner and ensure that the guests have a memorable stay. You will be a great communicator, who is a Banff area expert, and have a natural ability to engage with others.

What you are responsible for:

Banff area expert – extensive knowledge of the community and the park is required
Greet and interact with guests and create an environment for the guests designed to stimulate all senses through connection, amenities, and experiences
Answer guests’ questions about the town and area – provide suggestions as needed
Operate a computerized reservation system and assist with checking in guests during peak times
Answering telephones providing a welcoming experience
Complete required training
Teamwork
Maintaining a safe work environment
The Lodge Host may be asked to train in various departments to assist with guest needs during peak times
