Full job description
Manage Banff’s downtown western store and become a part of the team with Banff Trail Riders!

Assist visitors from around the world with western wear from head to toe, gifts, carriage ride and trail ride reservations. Retail and customer service experience required. Previous experience with computer reservation systems an asset.

Responsibilities

Inventory Management and merchandising of the retail locations
Develop short, medium and long-term strategic retail plans to grow the retail business
Achieving and exceeding monthly and yearly targets
Mentoring a team to success
Maintain excellent customer service standards
Oversea daily operations of the store and drive staff to achieve goals
Manage floats and cash
Handle and communicate issues and customer service complaints
Uphold high level of product knowledge, merchandising and display standards
Work closely with head buyer to ensure product selection meets design, sales and visions of the retail store
Other responsibilities may be added to meet the needs of the business
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Previous retail experience.
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be legal to work in Canada
An interest in the western lifestyle
This role will also require you to provide office/administrative assistance where needed.
