Join our team as a Revenue & Inventory Specialist within our Revenue Management department. Contributing to the day to day management of rates, inventory, yield and revenue strategies and operations. This position is ideal for a person with analytical skills, the ability to data-mine to determine booking patterns and trends, an interest in generating numerical based reports, and/or experience in rate management or yield and inventory strategy.

We are looking for a person who is motivated, curious, and growth driven. The ability to respond well to constructive feedback and work well in a team environment will be an asset. The successful candidate will be involved with a variety of tasks and projects in a busy department responsible for favourable revenue growth.

Your Responsibilities will include:
Manage daily yield and inventory operations
Perform inventory analysis, adjustments and reporting
Build and maintain rates, packages, nightly minimums and quotas in the PMS
Work closely with the Senior Manager of Revenue and Sales to manage room and rate availability, to maximize occupancy, ADR, and overall room revenue for all properties.
Work with OTA companies to maintain systems setups and content presentation
Conduct quality checks and audits to ensure accuracy of information in all relevant systems and processes
Assist in monitoring hotel occupancy level and room-type availability for all properties
Gain strong working knowledge of and assist in management of systems including Maestro PMS, IDeaS G3 and Travelclick iHotelier
Produce daily, weekly and monthly reports as required
Monitor rate parity and distribution
We’re seeking candidates with:
Superior analytical skills with the ability to analyze, interpret and explain statistical data
High level of motivation, determination and commitment
Ability to work under independent initiative to prioritizing between revenue generating actions and time-consuming tasks
Able to work well with team members and hotel teams
Ability to quickly learn new technology, processes, and programs when required
Strong “can-do” attitude with willingness to be flexible and adaptable
Experience:
Minimum 2 year of professional experience in an analytical or revenue-focused role
Experience within the hotel and tourism industry
Highly computer literate with experience using Microsoft Office tools, in particular a high proficiency in Excel
Strong mathematical comprehension
Experience with Maestro PMS and IDeaS RMS an asset
