Our Housekeeping Supervisor has a keen eye for detail while maintaining a fast pace and prioritizing between multiple tasks. Our Housekeeping Supervisor helps to maintain the smooth operations of the Housekeeping Team, helping to ensure that guests at the hotel receive an outstanding experience.

Duties and Responsibilities
Provide assistance to the Executive Housekeeper as required;
Maintain and implement hotel quality control standards of guest rooms and common spaces;
Supervise and co-ordinate daily duties of employees;
Complete daily assignment sheets and document any mechanical problems from the guest rooms;
Inspect guest rooms, corridors and public areas and ensure that these areas are cleaned to Banff Lodging Company standards;
Ensure security of guest rooms and privacy of guests;
Ensure a safe work environment is maintained at all times and that all colleagues are committed to working safely;
Effective and timely interaction with Hotel departments, key relationship with Front Office Maintenance;
Clean assigned guest rooms according to Banff Lodging Company standards, including the daily changing of bed linens, replacing towels, cleaning the bathroom, dusting, vacuuming carpets and the removal of garbage and recyclables;
A positive contributor to the leadership team of the hotel;
Participate in the company’s environmental and health and safety programs;
Additional duties may be assigned to help meet guest needs.
Skills and Experience
Ability to motivate staff in a high energy environment.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
Ability to work in a multi-tasking, fast paced environment
A positive team player attitude with the ability to work independently and a strong willingness to learn
Ability to lift, push and pull at least 35 pounds
Prior cleaning and room attendant supervisory experience would be considered an asset.
