Qualifications

Reporting to the General Manager, this position is responsible for driving and supporting the effective processes by coordinating committee meetings, on-boarding and off-boarding of staff, staff recognition and maintenance of files. The Gondola Coordinator will support a safe work environment for all employees and guests.

This is a parttime, permanent position without staff accommodation.

Responsible for onboarding new employees
Develop and maintain Gondola Orientation Program
Conduct Orientation for all new hires
Act as a primary point of contact for uniforms, bus passes and nametags
Issue uniforms and bus passes and monitor inventory levels, make name tags
Maintain clean, organized and stocked uniform room
Complete and process all required paperwork (Uniform & Bus Pass Issuance Forms)
Keep staff list and employee files organized and up to date
Coordinate all colleague and supervisor training sessions

Ensure off-boarding tasks are completed in a timely manner:
Collect uniform items and bus passes
Coordinate and actively participate in Gondola Health and Safety Committee
Run monthly H&S meeting
Assist in training employees on Health and Safety program content
Conduct internal audits of the Health and Safety program

Develop and maintain H&S related documentation:
Incident reports
WCB claims
First aid and other training records
Take Health and Safety committee notes and follow-up on action items
Organize first aid courses
Support Gondola Leadership team & General Manager in admin tasks
Office management, admin supply orders and accurate invoice tracking
Communicate with the other Coordinators with reference to the Master Management Schedule
Monitor and respond to customer reviews & surveys. Create monthly progress report for the GM
Collect, track and input data on various measurables (statistics and reporting)
Communicate and update staff notice boards, and Facebook social media page
Staff booking requests of our various attractions and lodging
Provide team with support and information relating to company perks and benefits
Plan, promote and organize social events for Gondola employees
Coordinate staff recognition programs
Engagement of team in the selection and celebration of Colleague of the Month
Execute all work in a safe, professional manner in compliance with Health and Safety and Always Honest Policy
