We are excited to help you further your culinary career with first-hand experience! We have Prep cook & Line cook positions available, both are a very important roles in our kitchens. *Apprentice & Red seal hours can be validated in this role*


Prep Cook role description:


Prep Cook is a great entry level position for those interested in getting into cooking. They work hard to prepare food for the line cooks, sous chefs, and chef. Prep cooks are responsible for ensuring food is properly stored and handled, that the quality and quantity of food prepared meets BHC’s standards and keeping food waste to a minimum.



Line Cook role description:

An entry-level culinary position in the kitchen with so much opportunity for growth. Line cooks are responsible for ensuring food is properly stored and handled, that the quality and quantity of food prepared meets BHC’s standards, and keeping food waste to a minimum. Line cooks work closely with chefs and sous chefs and have a key role in supervising and training new staff members brought on.


Ideal candidate:


No previous experience needed – we are here to train you!
Excellent time management skills
Ability to work alone and in a team
Ability to operate industrial machinery and carry loads up to 20 lbs
Willingness to work in a hot, humid environment and on your feet for 8 hour shifts
