DESCRIPTION
The Banff Centre is a one-of-a kind arts institution located on the side of Tunnel Mountain, overlooking the picturesque Town of Banff. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional customer service to artists, leaders, and researchers from across Canada and around the world that participate in programs here and stay with us every year. Our Room Attendants are responsible for the efficient and effective cleaning of all rooms located in the guest and artist residences, comprised of 415 guest rooms, as well as general public areas.
Room Attendants are responsible for the cleaning of the rooms, including making up the beds, dusting, vacuuming, washing the bathroom sink, tub, walls, windows, baseboards and floors, replenishing supplies, and any other cleaning tasks assigned by the supervisor on duty. The Room Attendant is also responsible for cleaning of public restrooms, hallways, elevators and lobbies, and other spaces as required, such as the Leighton studios and staff residences. 
The Ideal Candidate
•	Is committed to providing exceptional customer service and enjoys working as part of a diverse and dynamic team.
•	Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and to stand, kneel, stretch, and bend on a repeating basis.
•	Must be able to communicate and take direction in English
Special Requirements
•	Candidates offered a position with the Centre, in this capacity, will be required to complete a criminal record check verifying a clear record before a final job offer can be made. 
•	You will be required to work with various cleaning agents.
Available Shifts
•	PM Shift: 3:15 pm - 12:00 am 
Employment Terms & Benefits
In accordance with CUPE 4318, this is a unionized, permanent, hourly support staff position, subject to a 500 hour probationary period.
This position pays $14.00 per hour working up to 40 hours per week on a rotating schedule. The weekly hours will vary based on departmental needs.
